Anxiety Disorder & panic attacks
In the case of anxiety disorders, the anxiety is perceived disproportionately, i.e. not appropriate to the situation or the cause and/or unfounded. In addition, there are often considerable restrictions in everyday life due to (pronounced) avoidance behaviour towards the anxiety trigger. Other characteristics are strong fears, motor tension and worries, as well as fear of fear.
Panic attacks are usually characterized by severe palpitations, sweating, difficulties of breathing, feelings of anxiety and dizziness. From anxiety attacks and panic attacks together with the avoidance behaviour a vicious circle often arises which has to be broken. In general, women are affected about twice as often as men.

Anxiety Disorder treatment with Neurofeedback
How we can help with anxiety and panic attacks with neurofeedback in our practice in Munich
Objective diagnostics for panic attacks
The development of anxiety can occur in different regions and manifest itself in different areas of the brain, leading to imbalances. In addition to the impairments described above, these imbalances lead to a self-causing sequence of anxiety-inducing activities that can manifest themselves. The quantitative EEG (qEEG) helps to identify these (often manifested) problem areas and thus to counteract them specifically – anxiety disorder Munich.
